K9 911We are excited to have Dr. Jeni Gaffney, DVM, present a K9 911 Program after our March 11th Membership meeting at beginning 11 AM.  This is a program you won’t want to miss as your dogs’ life may depend on what you learn to do. Dr. Gaffney is a 1987 graduate cum laude of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. For the past 30 years, she has had her own practice, The Visiting Vet in Bath, which is a small companion animal and an equine practice. Dr. Gaffney performs a variety of services from complex surgeries to dentals and everything in between. With over 20 years in small animal emergency care, she’s been the Senior Staff Veterinarian at the Westside Animal Emergency Clinic and is currently one of the ER Veterinarians at the Animal Clinic Northview.

Dr. Gaffney will be speaking on a wide range of topics from toxins to trauma, to do we need to go to the ER, do we need stitches, K9 CPR, my dog ate chocolate… and more!  There will be a Q&A session after the program.

The Visiting Vet is mixed practice with a companion animal clinic located in Bath, Ohio and with 2 ambulatory veterinary units serving the horse community in Summit, Medina and Lorain counties.

The Visiting Vet mission is to provide the highest quality and most compassionate animal health care possible within the guidelines established by the owner.

The 60 – 90 minute program is open to GRIN members, friends and family.  It will begin after a brief membership meeting   at the Independence Library located at 6361 Selig Dr. Independence OH  44130.
