Dear G.R.I.N. Members,  

We are encountering more and more Goldens with behavior issues due to indiscriminate breeding and mistreatment of these dogs prior to being rescued by G.R.I.N.  G.R.I.N. has and will continue to try and rehabilitate these dogs to make them adoptable.  However, we need you! G.R.I.N. has many resources available to us due to your continued financial support and generosity.  We now have a vet who specializes in behavior, as well as trainers, and many written resources and materials.  What we are in need of is caring individuals who are willing to foster and implement the positive training that is needed to rehabilitate these Goldens.  If you have any prior knowledge/training regarding dog behavior it would be of great benefit.  If you do not have any prior behavior experience, we just need volunteers who are willing to learn and be committed to doing positive, reward based training as directed by our behaviorist/trainer and G.R.I.N.  If you are interested and would like further information, please contact president@grinrescue.org.
