To know Abner is to love Abner. From the first moment he entered our home in November of 2007, that was it.
He fit right in with our family. He made himself at home with no complaints. He loved his toys and, of course, he loved to eat!! Most of all, Abner loved to be with people.
As shared by Michelle Gole. It all started with a call from Lynnete Wright, as many of my “foster failures” have, about a senior who was relinquished by his owner due to her falling on hard times. I am a sucker for a white face so how could I say no. Little did I realize how quickly I would fall in love with this wonderful senior.
Dear Friends of Amos,
Amos passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his owners last night. Although I feel sad, I take great solace in something June said to me on our drive home. Amos was very fortunate that GRIN found him and took him in, saving him from an unpleasant end. Also, we were very lucky to have been given the chance of caring for Amos during these past nine months.
God saw that you were getting tired,
