Monetary donations
Did you know that as little as $15 can provide a required rabies vaccination to one of our rescued goldens; $25 provides a physical exam by one of our network vets; $75 can help with a spay or neuter at a vet partner? Since G.R.I.N. is entirely staffed by volunteers, you can be assured that your entire contribution will be used towards t
he operating expenses of the organization of which the majority is our vets who care for the goldens that come into our program.
Because G.R.I.N. is funded solely on donations and contributions from individuals and some corporations, your donations ensure that G.R.I.N. will continue our mission to rescue, care for, and rehome golden retrievers.
When sending your monetary donation, you may advise us as to where you would like your donation to be used. The General Fund is used for everyday veterinary care and general operating expenses. The Arnold Fund was implemented for those goldens who need extraordinary care while in our program. This includes dogs that are seriously ill or injured where major medical intervention is required to save their lives and restore their quality of life. Employer Matches
Don’t forget to ask if your employer provides corporate matching. Over 6,000 companies encourage their employees' philanthropy through a matching gift program whereby your employer will match your individual donations. This generous program doubles - and sometimes triples - your donation. Ask your human resources department if your employer has this program. If so, you will be given a matching gift form to send to us with your donation, and we'll do the rest!

Item donations
Although money goes a long way for us, we can certainly use donations in other forms. We are in need of administrative supplies such as: stamps, gas or phone cards, copy paper, gift cards to office supply stores such as Office Max or Staples for toner or ink cartridges. We welcome and need dog supplies such as: new or gently used large dog crates, baby gates or pet containment gate, dog toys including nylabones and kongs for those needing extra boarding time, unopened bags of dog food such as Iams, Eukanuba, Science Diet, Nutro, etc. (especially senior food) for our foster homes. If you would like to donate any of the above items, please contact us at our Email G.R.I.N. address and we will arrange a volunteer to pick them up.
G.R.I.N. is a non-profit organization and we rely solely on the generosity of kind and giving people like you! We're registered with a 501(c)(3) status so all of your donations, including sponsorships, are tax-deductible.
