Donations

Did you know that as little as $15 can provide a required rabies vaccination to one of our rescued babies; $25 provides a physical exam by one of our network vets?  Since GRIN is entirely staffed by volunteers, you know that your entire contribution will be used towards the operating expenses of the organization.  Don’t forget to ask if your employer provides corporate matching.  This doubles your donation!  When sending your monetary donation, you may advise us as to where you would like your donation to be used.  The General Fund is used for everyday veterinary care and general operating expenses.  The Arnold Fund was recently implemented for those goldens who need extraordinary care while in our program.  This includes dogs that are seriously ill or injured where major medical intervention is required to save their lives and restore their quality of life.

Although money goes a long way for us, we can certainly use donations in other forms.  The following is our wish list:

• Unopened bags of food for foster homes (Iams, Eukanuba, Nutro, just to name a few)


• Baby Gates


• Crates (even some small enough for pups)


• Dog beds and blankets


• Toys for dogs that are kenneled for long periods of time (Kongs or nylabones are excellent)


• Funds earmarked for display ads in community newspapers or radio


• Donation of printing services


• Copy paper (color and white)


• Postage stamps


• Address labels (Avery #5160)

We use Patented Kuranda Dog Beds because they are durable, chew proof and easy to clean. If you would like to donate a bed to us, click here.

G.R.I.N. is a non-profit organization and we rely solely on the generosity of kind and giving people like you!  We're registered with a 501(c)(3) status, so all your donations, including sponsorships, are tax-deductible.  Over 6,000 companies encourage their employees' philanthropy through a matching gift program whereby your employer will match your individual donations.  This generous program doubles - and sometimes triples - your donation.  Ask your human resources department if your employer has this program.  If so, you will be given a matching gift form to send to us with your donation, and we'll do the rest!
