It is with great sadness I am writing this tribute to let you know that Daisy has crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Sept. 2, 2009. Daisy came to us through GRIN at 3 yrs old.
They told us she was a runner, she only ran once and the whole family ran after her crying calling her name with treats and she stopped and turned around never to run again. I believe she felt how much we loved her and was overcome with years and showed us the love a Golden gives. I remember on Sept 11th I cried and held her and said, "If people would love like a Golden things like this would never happen. There would be no wars, no hatred and no enemies". She brought us so much joy.
She was diagnosed with Cancer two weeks ago. We brought her in because she stopped eating. They did a blood test to find her red and white blood cells were dropping as were her platelets. They found nodules along her spleen and liver through ultrasound.
I want to thank GRIN for allowing us the priviledge of loving Daisy. Everyone who came across Daisy said what a great dog she was. She will be forever missed.

Remember Me? Bella
Hi my name is Bella and I asked my mom to send some pictures to you. I am having a great time and love my new home and my new mom. I have been learning how to sit/stay, down/stay, come, off, leave it, walk on the leash, jump, touch, retrieve my ball, and lots more. This learning is fun but I still have trouble remembering it all the time.
I know I will get better it just takes practice. This weekend mom says I am going to learn how to stay in my yard. Then I will be able to run around and chase the ball without having a leash on. I am really good at barking and letting mom know I have to go outside. That's good, cause I get to enjoy the fresh air each time. I also have met my best friend Obie.
