2013 G.R.I.N. Calendar -Now Accepting Photos!

Want to spotlight your fantastic fur kid?   Then grab your camera, set it on the highest setting, say “treats” and start snapping away.  We are accepting photos for the 2013 G.R.I.N. Calendar now through Sunday, June 3, 2012.  The 2013 G.R.I.N. Calendar again will be a  full color wall calendar made up entirely of G.R.I.N. members fur kids and will be available ON September 1, 2012!   Every family who submits a photo will at least be represented somewhere on the calenadar so don't be left out!!  Maybe your fur kids will become our new Calendar cover or Dog of the Month!  (Please keep reading for more instructions.)

Our 2012 G.R.I.N. Calendar was a huge success and we were able to help us raise over $4,800 for our goldens.  We are looking to top that this year but we need your help!There are a few guidelines to follow for the photos so please be sure to read the specifications below.  Photos will be accepted through June 1, 2012.  Photos used will be chosen by the fundraising committee.  Please DO NOT send any pictures to the post office box as we need all photos submitted electronically.  Order information for the calendars will be out in the next few days.  Watch the website for more ordering details!   For now, we just need your photos, so get snapping and help us make a fun and exciting 2013 G.R.I.N. Calendar!  Pre-orders will begin soon so keep watching for you order form.

PHOTO GUIDELINES

• All photos must be submitted by a current G.R.I.N. member and need to be of your dog(s) only (no people please).  We need general photos of your dogs (playing, sleeping, getting into trouble, etc.) as well as themed photos ie.. Valentines, St. Patrick's Day, Christmas. Easter, Thanksgiving, 4th of July just as a few suggestions.  They do not have to be Goldens, just a G.R.I.N. members fur kid.
• All images must be at least 250 DPI, jpeg format, at 5 x 7 size to be considered for a month full page photo.   On your digital camera, please use the highest file setting (except RAW).
• E-mail your photos to:  Lennie
• Because of limited space, we request no more than 5 photos per family submitted.
• In your e-mail with photo attached, please include: your pets name(s), age(s) your name, e-mail address and contact number in case we have any questions regarding your photo.
• You are welcome to send a recent or past photo, just please make sure the photo is at the image specification above.
• All photos will need to be received by June 1st to be considered for the calendar.  Any photo received after that date cannot be considered, sorry.
• By submitting your photo, you give us permission to use the photo in the 2013 G.R.I.N. calendar.
• Photos will be chosen by the Calendar Committee and we will notify you by August 1 if your photo is chosen to be used.
• UPDATE:  We will use at least one photo in our Calendar of every family who submits a photo for the calendar so please send them in!
