Esther’s been aptly named for “The girl who would be Queen,” which details a story of courage. This senior gal was found drifting the rainy streets, all alone. A humane society picked her up and alerted G.R.I.N. to her situation; there was talk of possible euthanization due to her age. So this sweet, courageous, white-faced Golden will have the opportunity to live out her life in the lap of love, with a warm bed to rest on and food in her belly. That’s what rescuing is all about.
Foster Update: Esther is a sweet friendly little girl who gets along well with other dogs and cats. Esther can do the three steps in her foster home, but needs a home where stairs are minimal. Esther does have some hearing, vision, and mobility issues due to her age. Despite all that, Esther loves to eat, is housebroken, and enjoys her time outside, especially rolling in the leaves! This senior sweet is looking for a warm and loving family to spend her Golden years basking in the love and attention she so deserves! Foster Update: 2/7/12 Esther is as sweet as can be! She loves the resident Golden and cat. She has full run of the house and has never been destructive and doesn’t need to be crated. She greatly enjoys the snow! |

Remember Me? Bella
Hi my name is Bella and I asked my mom to send some pictures to you. I am having a great time and love my new home and my new mom. I have been learning how to sit/stay, down/stay, come, off, leave it, walk on the leash, jump, touch, retrieve my ball, and lots more. This learning is fun but I still have trouble remembering it all the time.
I know I will get better it just takes practice. This weekend mom says I am going to learn how to stay in my yard. Then I will be able to run around and chase the ball without having a leash on. I am really good at barking and letting mom know I have to go outside. That's good, cause I get to enjoy the fresh air each time. I also have met my best friend Obie.
