Bear: Male 2 years old

Bear's a beautiful, personality-plus Golden. He's big, strong and is not a fan of little dogs; his new owner is going to have to beware of this on walks...and definitely teach him to slow down and enjoy the jaunt. Bear was once a stray; perhaps he never was taught good manners - his new owner will be advised, as with all young G.R.I.N. Goldens, to sign him up for an obedience class. This almost 90 lb. dog is lots of fun, though and his owner will love him!

Foster Update: 6/11/12

Bear has adjusted well to his foster home. He likes his two Golden foster brothers. He is very sweet and loves attention and gets very excited when visitors come over to see him. Bear walks well on lead, but being a strong boy, his foster mom uses a gentle leader successfully on him. Bear has a few quirks, one being small dogs, which he cannot be around, and becoming too excited when he sees dogs behind fences. His foster mom is working with him to pay attention to her instead. He knows the sit, down, stay, and give paw cues. He is working on leave it. Bear loves food and is very food motivated. He enjoys his spa time and being brushed!

Bear needs to have a fenced environment and would benefit with some obedience training. No DOGS
