Kahlua: Female 2 years old

Pretty Kahlua’s world has turned upside down; her owners lost their home and were forced to relinquish their pet.  But this gal is a trooper; she’s adjusting and making the best of her situation.  Kaluah’s a super affectionate dog and will be wonderful in a family environment, but because of her size (82 pounds!), she’ll be better with older children.  Add to that, this bigger girl fancies herself a lap dog, is a leaner, and she’s a bit of a songbird, too!

Foster Update: 3/12/12

Kahlua is a pretty girl!  She is young, strong, and has lots of energy.  She is fascinated with the resident cat and likes to lick her.  However, her foster parents feel if the cat decided to run, Kahlua would think it was great fun and chase her.  She loves to chase moving leaves in the yard.  Kahlua would do well with older children and would love an active household who will give her lots of exercise and play time.  Kahlua will be going to school soon and as with all young dogs, her furever family will need to continue with her training.

 Kahlua needs to have a fenced environment and would benefit with some obedience training.
