Cooper is a super sweet senior Golden. This beautiful light golden boy is a relinquishment; his owner has a busy career and feels an attentive home would be best. Cooper is being treated for an ear infection and has had a dental; our vet partner also recommends that he gains weight. He’ll be fine with older children and appears to be okay with other canines. He has tons of love to give and will be a wonderful companion.
Foster Update: 12/18/12
Cooper has adjusted well to his foster home. He has gained 10 pounds in the past month and a half and the vet says he could handle another 10. He has no trouble working toward that goal!! Cooper is a wonderful Golden boy with so much love to give! He loves having a toy in his mouth and will run and find one before he greets us. He is fully house trained and does not need to be crated. He would love to curl up on the furniture and cuddle with his new family. He will go up stairs to go to bed at night and go down stairs in the morning but tries to stay away from them the rest of the day. He loves his walks and pulls at the beginning due to his excitement but settles into a nice pace after a while. Cooper understands some basic cues...sit, shake, and come and is working on down. Cooper does ‘talk back’ when he doesn’t like what he is being asked to do, but a ‘no’ stops him. Cooper is wonderful with older children and would love to have a canine companion to play with and has no trouble keeping up with his young year old canine friend!
