Fred was a stray and no one came looking for this sweetheart. He has severe leg injuries and ear infections and is being treated with antibiotics to heal both issues; he’s also been neutered and had various lumps removed. Despite all this, Fred is a happy guy, loves yogurt, enjoys a good roll in the snow and is well-mannered to boot. What’s not to love about his trooper? Please consider adding this friendly companion to your home! And if you cannot adopt a Golden at this time, please consider sponsoring him to offset his medical costs.
Foster Update: 5/8/13
Fred is the most agreeable boy! He'll do whatever I ask of him. He loves to be petted and brushed, and lies down as soon as he sees the brushes come out. He tries to play with toys, though with his ecollar it's difficult, but he can get the rope toys and throw them around. He gets along perfectly with the other dogs. Duchess wants to cuddle with him and he makes room for her on the dog bed. He loves the kids who come for piano lessons and will lie so still while they pet him. His favorite thing is a walk! The rattle of the leashes will bring him right to the door. He's tired at the end of a mile, but he always wants to go!
