Lily fka Rikki: Female 4 years old

If you're looking for a younger golden that's settled and calm, then Rikki could be the dog for you! Rikki's a Velcro girl---she's going to follow you around and likes to be very near. She'd be so happy to be part of your home...and you'll be glad she is!

Foster Update 04-23-2009:

Rikki is without doubt a keeper for sure!  She is gentle, and sweet and gets along fabulously with two resident goldens and the resident cats. She wags her tail constantly and is a total kissy-face, to the point of interrupting herself at the water bowl to give her foster mom a quick kiss in between laps!  Rikki seems  inexperienced on a leash but has already made progress. She does like to chew so she does need to be watched to make sure it is something she is allowed to have. Her temperament is fantastic and she has the most interesting golden-colored eyes. At 46 lbs., she is on the small side but still strong and hearty. She loves to cuddle and falls asleep in the evening lying close to her foster mom. She's an easy going gal who will fit well into just about any home.

Foster update 07-10-09

Rikki is now named Lily, but she remains the same sweet and loving dog. She now walks great with her foster mom and foster brother using a Halti collar and loves to play with her foster siblings. She is very energetic and likes everybody, and may do best in a home with other dogs to play with to keep her from getting lonely. If you are looking for a loyal friend to play & cuddle with and join you on your walks, Lily just might be the one for you.

Rikki needs to have a fenced environment and would benefit with some obedience training.
