Louie: Male 1.5 years old

My name is Louie and the kids in my family no longer play with me so they want to find me a new home. As you can see, I am very handsome and very loveable. I love to play ball, take car rides, love children, am good with cats, and I am fairly well-behaved for my age. I am just a happy, happy boy and am looking for someone who will be just as happy to give me my forever home.

Foster Update 06-22-2009:

Louie has settled into his foster home and is a total sweetheart!  He has been wonderful with the foster's grandchildren ages 2 and 4.  He loves to play ball with them and has not jumped on them at all.  He is curious about the resident cats and is doing well with them.  He loves to play with his toys and likes to carry a favorite one around with him just in case someone wants to play.  He has been on several walks and walks well on lead.  One of his walks was on a popular trail with bikers, joggers, and other walkers.  He knows sit and we are working on stay.  He is a very loving boy that really wants to please and be with people.  He follows his foster mom around everywhere and is always ready for a hug or to give a kiss.  He is always ready to play ball, but is also happy just laying quietly beside you.

Louie needs to have a fenced environment and would benefit with some obedience training.
