Millie: Female 10 years old

Millie’s a doll. She’s so sweet—you’ll be so glad to have her! She’s a little chubby and will need a good diet and some exercise, too. Don’t discount her because of her age…she’ll be able to keep up with you, not to worry at all! She’s a keeper and she deserves all the love you have to give.

Foster update 07-20-2009:

If you are looking for a real "lady", then Millie is the girl for you. Millie will sit, stay, lay down, and shake on verbal command. She walks nicely on a leash and we are working on getting back her girlish figure! Millie enjoys being brushed - in fact she will literally fall asleep lightly snoring in the middle of being brushed. Millie is a loving dog just waiting for a new home.

Foster Update 08-11-2009:

Millie continues to bring her best paw forward in showing off all of her wonderful attributes. Millie is 100% housebroken, she's not a licker, has not jumped on anyone and has never attempted to get on the furniture - not even a single paw! Oh and Millie wants to make sure that I let you know she even lets you brush her teeth! (the resident goldens could use a few lessons from Millie) One of the cute things that you will enjoy about Millie is the little dance she will do for you to let you know how excited she is to be going for a walk. Everyone is so impressed upon meeting Millie during our walks about how sweet and gentle she is in greeting new people - always sitting so others can pet her. Millie is not a storm chaser and thus tends to look for a cave-like spot to weather out the thunder and lightening. Millie is looking forward to impressing you with her sweet "ladylike" demeanor!!!

Foster Update 10-03-09

Mirror,  Mirror on the wall – who’s the fairest of them all?  If appearance and personality are the qualifiers, then Millie is the one!  Millie has a sweet young face with no gray – just a few loose folds under her chin – which she loves for you to massage.  She will remind you that her natural young appearance is the benefit of no dying or facelifts!  Millie has a playful personality & enjoys expressing herself thru “song & dance” and this will leave you in tears of laughter.  Millie will always greet you with her favorite toy held gently in her mouth – ready to share with you!

Foster update 11-07-2009

Check out Millie's new photo in her role as "supervisor" of leaf raking! Must admit she did help out with "mulching" by rolling in the leaves. Millie does separate work from play - always dropping her toys at the door before heading out to supervise the yard chores. Millie would like to help you with your yard work!
