Madeline: Female 3 - 4 years old

Madeline, aka Maddie, is really sweet, she’s scared right now. Between our transporter and volunteer walkers, they’ve noticed that she’s fearful and clingy – and for this one-time stray, that behavior fades quickly while she’s with them. She’s fine with most other dogs, but little yappers kind of wig her out! She may need an obedience class to strengthen her walking skills, too. Most likely, Maddie’s never had an owner who has invested time with her, instilling trust. G.R.I.N. adopters are head over heels crazy over Goldens, so clearly Maddie will get what she needs in her new home.

Madeline needs to have a fenced environment and would benefit with some obedience training.

Hi my name is Bella and I asked my mom to send some pictures to you. I am having a great time and love my new home and my new mom. I have been learning how to sit/stay, down/stay, come, off, leave it, walk on the leash, jump, touch, retrieve my ball, and lots more. This learning is fun but I still have trouble remembering it all the time.

I know I will get better it just takes practice. This weekend mom says I am going to learn how to stay in my yard. Then I will be able to run around and chase the ball without having a leash on. I am really good at barking and letting mom know I have to go outside. That's good, cause I get to enjoy the fresh air each time. I also have met my best friend Obie.
