Shelby’s owner had to relinquish her and Rocco; she was forced to move and could not take them. Shelby is a nervous gal; this should improve once she’s adopted and adjusts to her new home. She’s a known kisser, those slobbery, wet, wonderful kind! She lived with other dogs and she’s known to be the submissive one. Shelby’s a pretty golden chunk; a diet will be beneficial for her health. She’s going to enjoy a home where she gets much attention, daily walks and has lots of fun.
Foster Update: 5/8/12
Shelbyis adjusting well to her new foster home and getting more comfortable in her new surroundings. She likes to lie on the sofa. She is a very beautiful girl with very gentle and loving manners. She is a true Golden, as she always has her yellow Kong ball in her mouth and even takes it to bed with her. She loves the grand children and acts much younger than her years. Her hair is so soft, that one can hardly take their hands off of her.Shelbywould help complete any family. You need to meet this sweetheart!

Remember Me? Bella
Hi my name is Bella and I asked my mom to send some pictures to you. I am having a great time and love my new home and my new mom. I have been learning how to sit/stay, down/stay, come, off, leave it, walk on the leash, jump, touch, retrieve my ball, and lots more. This learning is fun but I still have trouble remembering it all the time.
I know I will get better it just takes practice. This weekend mom says I am going to learn how to stay in my yard. Then I will be able to run around and chase the ball without having a leash on. I am really good at barking and letting mom know I have to go outside. That's good, cause I get to enjoy the fresh air each time. I also have met my best friend Obie.
