Cinnamon: Female 1 year old

Cinnamon and her sis, Molly, came to us via a shelter. They had been turned in by the breeder; the person who purchased the dogs from her couldn’t keep them after losing their home, so they returned them. These poor girls have been moved around and just don’t know which end is up. Cinnamon is a tiny thing and sweet as pie, but is a little skittish at sights and sounds new to her. She would do well in a quieter environment, and will do best with school-age children or older. She would enjoy another small dog to keep her company. Perhaps what will benefit her best is a kind, gentle owner who will bestow time and attention on her!

Foster Update: 8/5/10

Cinnamon is a very sweet little girl who enjoys meeting new people and loves other dogs. Cinnamon is learning about everyday life and noises. She may not have had much experience with things like garbage trucks or garage doors, but with some positive reinforcement (yummy treats) she is learning. She is also learning basic commands, such as sit, down, and leash walking. Cinnamon is very loving and sweet. She allows her foster mom to clean her ears, play with her paws, and loves belly rubs. Cinnamon would like a playful, confident canine companion in her furever home. She will need much patience and TLC to overcome her fears, but she is more than worth it!

Foster Update: 3/28/11

Cinnamon is overcoming many issues due to a lack of socialization when she was young.  After months of loving, consistent, and stabilizing care, she is blossoming into a happy, more confident dog.  She has gained weight and finally looks like the lovely Golden girl that she is.  The loving home that adopts her will need to provide a stable home with consistency.  Cinnamon will also need a yard where she can run and play fetch, as well as a canine companion to ruff-house with as she loves other dogs!  Cinnamon is a sweet girl, who loves to be petted, cuddled and brushed.

fence Cinnamon needs to have a fenced environment and would benefit with some obedience training.schoolbus
