Available for adoption-New Update!Available for Sponsorship Molly: Female 2.5 years oldMolly and her sis, Cinnamon, came to us via a shelter. They had been turned in by the breeder; the person who purchased the dogs from her couldn’t keep them after losing their home, so they returned them. These poor girls have been moved around and just don’t know which end is up. Molly is sweet, but just a little scared right now. Molly would do well in a quieter environment, and will be good with school-age children or older. She would enjoy another small dog to keep her company. Perhaps what will benefit her best is a kind, gentle owner who will bestow time and attention on her! |

Foster Update: 8/3/10 Just look at this face....such a pretty little Golden girl! Molly has a beautiful, soft, healthy coat. When she is outside in the sunlight, it looks like golden threads running through her coat. Molly is a little shy but making progress every day. Molly enjoys hanging out with the resident Goldens and gets along very well with the resident cat...also named Molly. She enjoys her daily walks and hanging out on the deck. Molly is showing interest in fetching the ball in the yard. If you welcome this little girl in your home you won't be sorry! Foster Update: 9/8/10 Molly has now been with us for just over a month and what a different dog she has become. Actually, she's becoming a dog and learning all the fun things about life! She is on occasion shy in meeting new people, but foster Mom always carries yummy treats to pass around to help. G.R.I.N. and foster Mom both felt that Molly needed some help in her transition from her old life to her new life as Molly seemed stressed and anxious at times. With the help of a trainer and our vet, Molly is presently taking a daily medication to help her withher transition. Molly is not fond of being crated, so with the help of our trainer,we play crate games every day. We are also working on car rides and learning how fun it is go new places. We enjoy our daily walks together and have learned to sit on command for treats. Molly enjoys being brushed. In the evening, she will lay on her back against the couch just waiting for a good belly rub. Her favorite spot to sleep at night is along side our bed with her foster sister by her side.
