We are in need of foster homes for new foster_poster_smallG.R.I.N. goldens. Each Golden that is taken in by G.R.I.N. is placed in a foster home for a minimum of two weeks. Without a foster home to place a new arrival in, our options are to board the Golden until a foster home is found or wait to take the dog into our program which most of the time is not an option and it also delays their adoption process. Our current foster homes are full and stretched very thin as they have been so wonderful taking foster dog after foster dog with little or no break in between and we thank them for their tireless efforts.  WE NEED YOUR HELP!  Won't you consider becoming a G.R.I.N. foster home or if you have previously fostered, we encourage you to help by fostering at least one dog for us this year.

Will you consider taking in at least one foster Golden this year? It is only a short time committment and we need your help.  If you have recently adopted/fostered, you do not need to go thru the application process again, just contact us at foster@grinrescue.org. If you have not adopted/fostered in the past few years and you are willing to help, we ask that you to apply onlineand go thru the application process so that we can make sure that you have what you need to become a foster home for G.R.I.N.

If you need more information about what our foster program is all about, please go to the "Become a Foster" section on our website or e-mail us a foster@grinrescue.org.  We have created flyers for everyone to help us in finding foster homes, please take a moment to download and print some copies for work, etc:  Foster Help Needed Flyer and Foster Help Tear-Off Sheet.
You can make a huge difference in a rescued Golden's life by fostering!

Remember Me

Remember Me? Bella

Hi my name is Bella and I asked my mom to send some pictures to you. I am having a great time and love my new home and my new mom. I have been learning how to sit/stay, down/stay, come, off, leave it, walk on the leash, jump, touch, retrieve my ball, and lots more. This learning is fun but I still have trouble remembering it all the time.

I know I will get better it just takes practice. This weekend mom says I am going to learn how to stay in my yard. Then I will be able to run around and chase the ball without having a leash on. I am really good at barking and letting mom know I have to go outside. That's good, cause I get to enjoy the fresh air each time. I also have met my best friend Obie.
