An update from her new family…We just wanted to say hello and let you know that Penny is doing great.

She is a member of the family and we just love her to pieces.  Nothing much has changed with her.  She remains calm, sweet, gentle and an absolute joy to have, just like the day we got her.  I never thought we would have any surprises with her, but honestly she just keeps getting better and I think that she finally thinks she is here to stay.

A cute story to share with everyone.  The girls and I went to Indiana to visit my family and Penny stayed home with Kevin so he would have someone here to take care of.  I'm sure she got quite lonely during the day and missed us.  When we got home we came in to say hello and then all of us headed back out into the garage to unload the car.  Penny bolted though the opening in the door and headed to the back of the car and then jumped into the back of our 4 door sedan trunk and laid on top of the suitcases.  It was like she was saying "if you are going anywhere else, you have to take me!"  It was the cutest thing and was great to see her show some personality.

I attached a picture of her in the trunk that I took while we all got a good laugh.   Also, there are other pictures of her in the past months.  Colleen is in every picture I try to take of her!

Remember Me

Bella

Remember Me? Bella

Hi my name is Bella and I asked my mom to send some pictures to you. I am having a great time and love my new home and my new mom. I have been learning how to sit/stay, down/stay, come, off, leave it, walk on the leash, jump, touch, retrieve my ball, and lots more. This learning is fun but I still have trouble remembering it all the time.

I know I will get better it just takes practice. This weekend mom says I am going to learn how to stay in my yard. Then I will be able to run around and chase the ball without having a leash on. I am really good at barking and letting mom know I have to go outside. That's good, cause I get to enjoy the fresh air each time. I also have met my best friend Obie.
