Max came to us as a foster dog on Sept. 10, 2007.

Max and foster sibling Ginger napping together:

He was a big, lanky, lovable boy who hit it off with his foster sisters right away.  He loved to run and be chased by Ginger and Abby, loved car rides, walks and visits to the dog park.  He always needed to know where I was at at all times, whenever I would leave a room for any reason, he was always right behind me.  I had to keep all the doors shut since he liked to snoop and grab something out of any room whether it be a sock, a shoe, or a throw pillow.  One day I wasn't paying attention and he slipped outside with one of my shoes and I had to chase him around the yard to get it back.  He would never chewed on anything, he just liked to carry things in his mouth.  But once I said, 'Max, drop it', he usually would.  He was always the first one at the door when the words 'walk', or 'ride' were mentioned.  He provided me with a lot of laughs and love, he was so affectionate, and he sure enjoyed his stay here.  This was his home.

Max crossed the Rainbow Bridge Jan. 14, 2008.

Regardless of his shortcomings he will always be remembered as a warm, wonderful, loving, silly boy, and me and the girls miss him.

Remember Me

Bella

Remember Me? Bella

Hi my name is Bella and I asked my mom to send some pictures to you. I am having a great time and love my new home and my new mom. I have been learning how to sit/stay, down/stay, come, off, leave it, walk on the leash, jump, touch, retrieve my ball, and lots more. This learning is fun but I still have trouble remembering it all the time.

I know I will get better it just takes practice. This weekend mom says I am going to learn how to stay in my yard. Then I will be able to run around and chase the ball without having a leash on. I am really good at barking and letting mom know I have to go outside. That's good, cause I get to enjoy the fresh air each time. I also have met my best friend Obie.
