Regretfully Woody succumbed to cancer in mid-November.
He was my buddy of the last four years and is missed greatly. I was glad he was able to have a great summer even though his arthritis also worsened. Thanks to a great vet, Dr. Nekic, he received the best of care and reached a fine and distinguished age of 13 plus. His conditioned only worsened in the last 10 days or so. Before that he was still up and about. His pet sitters/care givers, Ashley and Chris, were wonderful, and made life easier for both of us. He always had a tail wag for them up to the end.

I could not have asked for a better companion. His intelligence made me take notice from the very beginning, and he always made me laugh. I will never know how anyone could have given up such a wonderful guy after nine years. Friends and family always said that he lucked out coming into my home, but I always replied, and knew, that I was the lucky one.

Remember Me? Bella
Hi my name is Bella and I asked my mom to send some pictures to you. I am having a great time and love my new home and my new mom. I have been learning how to sit/stay, down/stay, come, off, leave it, walk on the leash, jump, touch, retrieve my ball, and lots more. This learning is fun but I still have trouble remembering it all the time.
I know I will get better it just takes practice. This weekend mom says I am going to learn how to stay in my yard. Then I will be able to run around and chase the ball without having a leash on. I am really good at barking and letting mom know I have to go outside. That's good, cause I get to enjoy the fresh air each time. I also have met my best friend Obie.
