Sadly, Sam crossed the Rainbow Bridge today in the loving arms of his foster mom. He had not been feeling well for the past two weeks and had stopped eating. He was a sweet and loveable boy and will be greatly missed by his foster mom.

 Sam: Male 9 Years Old

Sam is a great dog whose owner lost their home and moved, leaving him behind because they could not find him a home. Good thing their concerned daughter called GRIN to help find him a new home or who knows what would have become of him. He struggles a bit with some arthritis, but losing a few pounds and being on medication will help him a great deal. Please give Sam the home he deserves so he never has to be alone again.

Update 10-31-2008: Sadly, Sam crossed the Rainbow Bridge today in the loving arms of his foster mom. He had not been feeling well for the past two weeks and had stopped eating. He was a sweet and loveable boy and will be greatly missed by his foster mom.

Foster Update:

Sam is doing very well. He has lost some much needed weight, which is wonderful for his overall health and mobility. Sam will need daily exercise in his new home as it is proving to be very beneficial to him! He doesn’t walk too far or too fast! Sam gets along well with other dogs. He is a sweet, gentle golden, everything you could want and ask of a senior!

Remember Me

Remember Me? Bella

Hi my name is Bella and I asked my mom to send some pictures to you. I am having a great time and love my new home and my new mom. I have been learning how to sit/stay, down/stay, come, off, leave it, walk on the leash, jump, touch, retrieve my ball, and lots more. This learning is fun but I still have trouble remembering it all the time.

I know I will get better it just takes practice. This weekend mom says I am going to learn how to stay in my yard. Then I will be able to run around and chase the ball without having a leash on. I am really good at barking and letting mom know I have to go outside. That's good, cause I get to enjoy the fresh air each time. I also have met my best friend Obie.
