God saw that you were getting tired,
And your cure was not meant to be.
So He put His arms around you
And whispered, "Come with me."
A Golden heart stopped beating,
Adoring eyes went to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove
He only takes the best.

This is in memory of our beloved GRIN angel Zeus.

You came into your Mommie and Daddy's lives that cold and rainy December day. Ever since that day for amost nine years you have brought us joy and happiness. You were always a good boy. You were brave when your brother Rocky crossed the rainbow bridge and even braver when you took ill this spring. You fought as hard as you could. You are with your brother Rocky now. You will always be in our hearts.

Love always,
Mommie, Daddy, Sasha, and the rest of your extended family

Dear GRIN,
It is with great sadness that we send you the news  that Paige, our wonderful GRIN rescue Golden crossed the Rainbow Bridge on July  4, 2009.

We had the pleasure of her sweet company for eleven years. We could not  possible have been more fortunate than to adopt Paige, a gorgeous dog who was  sweet and kind, with a quiet and calmness that suited us perfectly. We miss her  very much. Sandi and Bob Hansen.

angel09163Monday night, August 23, 2010, we made the difficult decision to put Angel down. In the last 36 hours the lymph nodes in her neck had begun swelling. Monday evening they got to the point that Angel’s breathing and swallowing was becoming labored. We knew it was only going to get worse, so we did the only thing we could do to relieve her suffering.

As her name implies, she was Heaven sent. A year ago we weren’t looking to foster a female special needs dog, but she was looking for us.

We were blessed to have known her and will cherish her sweet smile and gentle ways.

 Thank you for everything Girl.

Love always Mom, Dad and your 3 Golden Boys.
