Wilson

Dear GRIN,

Sadly, we report the loss of our BEST PAL, Wilson on August 8, 2011. 

We adopted Wilson in October, 2004 when he was about 4 years old.  This happy, playful, loving guy was picked up by GRIN from a shelter in Marietta, Ohio.  The previous owner stated “the dog didn’t like her”.  NONSENSE!!  Wilson loved EVERYBODY.  Watching him “greet” anyone who came to our door was absolutely delightful.  Halloween treat night was “special” for him with all the “visitors” in costume.

We found out only 6 weeks ago that contracted cancer in his liver and spots on his lungs.  We sent Wilson “over the Rainbow Bridge” before he was in pain.  He was the first adult dog we ever had, and we are FOREVER GRATEFUL for GRIN “sending” him to us.  Without question, he “raised the bar” for the Golden breed.  We know he is in a better place.
