Golden Sponsorships- A Special "Golden" Opportunity!
This beautiful guy is Bosco. He came to us as stray and is happy to be in our care and looking for a sponsor and his new forever home! You can read about Bosco and all of our goldens who are waiting on their forever homes on our Available Goldens pages. If you can't adopt or foster a golden with G.R.I.N., but would like to help one (or more) of our rescued goldens, you can help us by becoming a sponsor of one or more of these rescued beauties! As you look through our pages of Available Goldens, you will see that many are sponsored but these goldens still have NO ONE to sponsor them: Bosco, Macie, Rocky and Willy. Can you help us please? Our goal is to have all of our goldens sponsored with one or more sponsors. A "Golden Sponsorship" is easy and a great way to help some very deserving goldens. Here's how to become a sponsor.

SAVE THE DATE: 8th Annual G.R.I.N. Golden Gala
Please place Saturday, November 3, 2012 on your calendars for our 8th Annual Golden Gala. The new gala location is St. Michael’s Woodside Party Center, located just off Interstate 77 at the Wallings Road exit, only 3 miles south of the I-77/480 interchange.
The current Gala Committee is very small and we would love to see new G.R.I.N. members help lessen our workload. Please consider coming to our first Gala meeting on Saturday, February 4th, 10 AM at the Panera in Macedonia. If you have any questions please contact development@grinrescue.org. Come to the Gala and GRIN with us! More Gala information will be forthcoming, so stay tuned!
G.R.I.N. Receives Pedigree Grant
G.R.I.N. would like to thank The Pedigree Foundation for their continued support of our adoption program. A grant was awarded to G.R.I.N. in December, 2011 from their Foundation. The Pedigree Brand believes every dog deserves a loving home, to be fed well and to be treated with the love and respect they deserve. The Pedigree Foundation is a philanthropic organization dedicated to helping dogs in need find loving homes. Thank you Pedigree Foundation, for partnering with G.R.I.N. in continuing our mission of re-homing Goldens! For more information about The Pedigree Foundation, please visit: http://www.pedigreefoundation.org
G.R.I.N. goldens are looking for a few great homes!
If you are considering adopting a rescued golden, now is the perfect time to fill out an on-line application to get the process started. You can get more information on our website under “adoption process” section on the left side menu. If you cannot adopt a golden at this time, we encourage you to consider becoming a foster home or sponsoring any one or more of our goldens. We still have goldens waiting on a foster home and we need your help. Please e-mail us at foster@grinrescue.org if you are interested. A special golden is looking for you-forever!
Remember Me?

Remember Me? Moses
He doesn’t even know that he can’t do everything the others do. He thinks he can do anything. Moses runs around in the backyard, chasing the ball and playing with the kids. Out of the corner of his eye, he sees a squirrel running along the back fence and he is there in an instant, following it until it is out of sight. Then, when no one seems to be paying any attention to him anymore, he runs up the ramp and sticks his head in Sr. Mary’s door, knowing he can always get attention there.
