The Impact of PETS (Pets, Education, Training, & Safety)

• Discuss the importance of pets in the lives of adults. 
• Discuss how to achieve therapy dog certification.
• Recognize signs and symptoms of grief due to the loss of a pet.

Included as a presenter in this program is Linus, a current therapy dog at Hospice of the Western Reserve who was adopted through GRIN.

This is not an open even.  Attendees must register in advance.  $10 registration fee to attend, $25 CE's (includes registration fee). 
Continuing education hours applied for:  Nursing, Social Work/Counselor, Physician, Activity Directors and Coordinators, BENHA/Nursing Home Administration.
