Adopted! My Special Sponsor: Molly: Female 10 years old |
|
Molly’s a returning G.R.I.N. dog. Sadly her owner, a one-time member and volunteer, has passed away. Molly’s a great girl; she was well-loved by her only owner and it’s our mission to place her in a forever home. She’s acclimated to other dogs, cats, and has been around younger children from time to time. We do know that her owner cherished her, so she’s used to being spoiled, pampered and adored. Isn’t that the only way to treat a Golden?
Foster Update: 1/3/12 Molly's first hours in her new foster home demonstrated what a sweet girl she is. She adapts and adjusts beautifully. She slept most of the way in the car on her ride to her new foster home and was very easy to get in and out of the car. When we arrived she was happy to explore the backyard and meet the resident Golden with tail wags and enthusiastic play positions. She immediately learned how to use the dog run we have for new fosters and pranced around her space happily. She knows the come cue and will be working on her other obedience cues as she is very attentive and smart. She explored the house with vigor, ran up and down the stairs exploring each floor, played with a rubber chicken and then took a nap. She acts much younger than her age and loves to run thru the house chasing after her rubber chicken. Molly is sweet through and through!

Remember Me? Bella
Hi my name is Bella and I asked my mom to send some pictures to you. I am having a great time and love my new home and my new mom. I have been learning how to sit/stay, down/stay, come, off, leave it, walk on the leash, jump, touch, retrieve my ball, and lots more. This learning is fun but I still have trouble remembering it all the time.
I know I will get better it just takes practice. This weekend mom says I am going to learn how to stay in my yard. Then I will be able to run around and chase the ball without having a leash on. I am really good at barking and letting mom know I have to go outside. That's good, cause I get to enjoy the fresh air each time. I also have met my best friend Obie.
