makeoverWelcome to the new G.R.I.N. website!  We encourage you to take a few minutes to become familiar with some of the changes and enhancements we have made to the new site.  Our goal in designing the new website was to make it easier for you to navigate the site so we can better work together to rescue and rehome the goldens we all love so dearly.

Some of the changes and new features you will see on the new site are...

Menus -

The menu's are now found on the TOP of the front page, just below the Golden Retriever's In Need Rescue Service header.  The menu's are separated into 5 groups: Adoption Resources, Member Resources, G.R.I.N. Resources, Support G.R.I.N. and About G.R.I.N.  In each of these 5 menu's you will find drop down menus for items that relate to the catagory.  Please take a minute to look through the new menus and see what we have added or reorganized to make it easier for you to find what you are looking for.

Mobile Phone Enhanced -
For our cell users, the new site has a mobile friendly limited version of the website available.

Shortcuts
-

To see our Available Goldens, you can now get there two ways.  Under the menu choices you see photos of our members goldens.  (Many of these photos were used in our 2012 G.R.I.N. Calendar or submitted by G.R.I.N. members!)  If you click anywhere in the photo, it will take you to the Available Goldens page.  Or, you can use the menu "Adoption Resources" and the first menu item is Available Goldens.

To see the page of the Featured Golden on the front page that is scrolling, just click on the golden's photo and it will take you to their page.

Social Media can be accessed quickly by scrolling down to the bottom of the Home page.  There you will find links to Facebook, Twitter, and G.R.I.N.s You Tube channel.

Links to Ohio Pet Plates, BBB, Goodsearch, iSearch, American Humane Society and GRCA can be accessed from the right side of any page by clicking on their respective icon.

Member Login Access -
If you had access on the previous website, your login and password has not changed.  If you don't have a previous login but have a current G.R.I.N. membership and would like to create a login, you can create a new login from the bottom of our Home page and click on "create an account."  You will just need to use the passphrase sent to you with your renewal letter.  If you do not have the passphrase and your membership is current, please e-mail the Webmaster or Membership Coordinator for the current passphrase.  You will not be able to see current or past newsletters unless you have a personal login to our website.  After you login, all G.R.I.N. newsletters can be found under "Member Resources" menu.

G.R.I.N. Documents -
The former G.R.I.N.Repository is now called G.R.I.N. Documents and can be found under "G.R.I.N. Resources" menu.  Please take a minute to look through here as you will find all the documents and forms you need for membership, adoption, fostering, events and all G.R.I.N. brochures.  We have added more descriptive titles for you so finding what you need should be easy.  There are also links to many of these documents through out site in various articles and sections relating to the topic.

Donating to G.R.I.N. or Sponsoring a Golden -
Donating and sponsoring has never been easier!  There are many links to PayPal throughout our site; in the top left corner and at the bottom of the Home page and in many articles specific to your donation designation.  To Sponsor A Golden, you can get more information in "Support G.R.I.N." manu and click on Sponsor A Golden.

Membership-
You can begin a new membership or renew your membership on-line now through the On-Line Membership Form and pay your dues by check or PayPal.  If paying by PayPal, once you have completed and submitted your membership form, you will be taken directly to PayPal.  If you prefer, there is a fill-in PDF that you can complete, print out and mail in with your check.  Becoming a member to G.R.I.N. has never been easier!

Events Calendar-
Our calendar has changed and is more interactive for you and includes alot more information and views.  You will see an "Upcoming Events" in the right side of the Home page.  To view the full calendar, you only need to click on "View Full Calendar" and you will be taken to the G.R.I.N. Calendar that you can specify to show events by day, week, month or year!  You also have the option to print out the calendar or e-mail a calendar or event to someone!  We have also added a section for specific non-fundraising events to our "G.R.I.N. Resources/GRINformation" menu and click on "Events" to see events such as trainings, picnics, and events that G.R.I.N. supports.

There are so many more new features that you will find throughout our website.  Thank you for taking the time to support G.R.I.N. and if you have any suggestions for the site or find something that perhaps isn't working correctly, please let us know by contacting our webmaster.

We hope you enjoy the new site!

Remember Me

Bella

Remember Me? Bella

Hi my name is Bella and I asked my mom to send some pictures to you. I am having a great time and love my new home and my new mom. I have been learning how to sit/stay, down/stay, come, off, leave it, walk on the leash, jump, touch, retrieve my ball, and lots more. This learning is fun but I still have trouble remembering it all the time.

I know I will get better it just takes practice. This weekend mom says I am going to learn how to stay in my yard. Then I will be able to run around and chase the ball without having a leash on. I am really good at barking and letting mom know I have to go outside. That's good, cause I get to enjoy the fresh air each time. I also have met my best friend Obie.
