Higgins

Dear G.R.I.N.,

Just wanted to let all you folks know how I am doing.  I was rescued in early 2006 and after being fostered by Judy D., the Steckers adopted me.  Boy, did I luck out!!

I have a downstairs bed and one upstairs as well.  No reason to use the upstairs bed when I can sleep in a real bed!  I have an in Invisible Fence in the backyard and I am very good with it.  I go for walks every morning and a big walk in the evening in the Metro parks.

When the nearby golf course is closed in the winter, I get to fun loose and chase sticks sometime with a Bernese mountain dog puppy (down the street, a Golden puppy and a lab.  I come on command most of the time but it seems to me why run away and spend the night in the woods when I can lounge on the couch and then retire to bed!

As you can see, I’m quite handsome and now weigh 90 pounds.  This past summer I attended my first G.R.I.N. reunion picnic and had fun seeing all the dogs and my foster mom.

Thanks again for all you did for me!
