Foster Update: 12/2/24
Dutton is an incredibly intelligent boy, picking up things quickly. Dutton has some fear & anxiety when he is exposed to things he’s not familiar with. When gently encouraged, he gains his confidence and is more comfortable in dealing with the unfamiliar. Dutton will bark at you to let you know he wants to go outside. He will need continued obedience training so that he can continue to learn. Dutton loves to cuddle, sleep on the foot of the bed, and he will do just about anything for a tasty treat. He is “talkative”, vocalizing when he wants to play or show how happy he is. It’s adorable, the more you talk back to him, the happier he gets. Dutton is a sweet, wonderful boy who loves a quieter environment. He's just the best and we know whoever adopts him will love him as much as his foster family does!

Foster Update: 9/30/24
Hi Dutton here! I am doing great in my foster home. I have learned to follow the pack to join in the daily activities. I have a new best buddy, named Finch. We love to wrestle! Watch out WWF! I love going for pack walks and playing fetch, but my favorite thing of all is WATER! I would be in our pool all day and nighttime too, if foster mom didn't close the gate! If I can't get in the pool, a mud puddle will do! I even like the hose when I get a bath. I am completely house trained and foster mom says my house manners are impeccable. In other words, I am the whole package, wrapped in a wiggly golden suit. Am I a good fit for your home?

Foster Update: 9/9/24
Hi! My name is Dutton. I am a lively, happy boy. My tail is always wagging, and I am always smiling. I like to jump up and say HOWDY to everyone I meet, so foster mom says I need to go to obedience school. That is fine with me as it is a chance for me to make new friends. I love my foster siblings and the rest of my foster family. I sleep in my crate 8-9 hours a night and take my medicine like a good boy. I am great in the car and love exploring my big new world. Some noises startle me, but I recover quickly. Now understand, I am not bragging, but my foster mom says I am gorgeous, beautiful, and handsome. Is there an active forever family looking for a lively, handsome guy? Then I'm your man!
