Due to the owner’s work situation and Duke’s (26112, 3 YO M, FTA) active, energetic personality, he was relinquished because he needs mental stimulation and physical activity. The owner found a rehoming group on social media and was recommended to seek out GRIN’s support. Duke is crate- and house- trained, loves to play tug-of-war, and enjoys spending time outside and occasionally digging holes. Duke was neutered, had a dental to address heavy tartar on the back teeth, was treated for bilateral ear infections, and tested Lyme positive. Although active, Duke is on the heavier side at 113lbs and can lose some weight.
