GRIN tries to make every effort to keep this page current and up to date. Please keep in mind that by the time you submit an application and are going through the approval process, some of dogs pictured below may already be in the process of meeting and being adopted by other approved applicants.

The average ages of our rescued Goldens are 6-10 years of age, however GRIN does occasionally receive younger dogs that are in need of a home.  If you are interested in adopting a young dog, please do not wait until you see one on our website to apply for adoption.  Our approval process takes approximately 2-4 weeks to complete and by the time you have been approved for adoption, the younger dog will have already been placed into a loving home. Please start the application process now so that you can be on a waiting list for when GRIN does have younger dogs available.

Hello, I'm Dug! Now, I wasn't always with GRIN. My owner relinquished me cause I'm a bit of a bull in a china shop if you will, and they had a baby. I've got plenty of goofiness and playfulness to go around. I'm friendly to boot! So, if you're looking for a buddy who's always up for a game of fetch and a good laugh, I'm your guy! But know that I am looking to my adopter to give me a few pointers on manners and leash etiquette, I like to pull a bit. Adopt me and let's have some fun together!

Hi I'm Dug!  I'm a rescue pup with a heart of gold and a face that will melt your heart!  I'm a lower energy dog as Goldens go.  I like to play with stuffy toys and fetch but am happy to settle down for some cuddling and time with my people.  I'm not fond of other dogs so I have to be the only dog in the home.  I do like cats, however.  I'm told I'm a strong puller but with a harness I walk well.  I'm house trained and know lots of cues.  I can even spin around on cue!  How about that?  I would do best with a traditional fence but could be trained to an invisible fence.  I'm currently looking for a family of my very own!
