Bark in the Park

Our first park event of the season is coming up quick, we’re planning to have an old-fashioned picnic!
Make your plans now and write down the date, it’s a time to get together and celebrate!

Please join us for our annual Bark in the Park on Sunday May 21 st from 11:30-2pm at the Oak Grove Pavilion at the Brecksville Metroparks. You don’t want to miss out on the fun this year! This year’s event will feature our signature raffles, a group pack walk, trivia, lunch, and more!

The event is open to the public and all dog-friendly dogs are welcome (all dogs must be on a leash, no flexi’s please). Tickets are just $20 and include lunch for the humans and doggie ice cream for our canine friends. Registration is open now and you can sign-up here.

It’s no secret that we have seen a significant increase in the volume of dogs needing our help. Last year alone, we took in 310 dogs and the need often feels overwhelming. All funds raised from this year’s event will go to ensure that “Life is golden” for every dog that comes into our care. Dogs like Desmond who came to us at 2.5 months old with a case of puppy strangles. After spending some time in foster
receiving treatment, this sweet guy was recently adopted into a loving home.
