GRIN tries to make every effort to keep this page current and up to date. Please keep in mind that by the time you submit an application and are going through the approval process, some of dogs pictured below may already be in the process of meeting and being adopted by other approved applicants.

The average ages of our rescued Goldens are 6-10 years of age, however GRIN does occasionally receive younger dogs that are in need of a home.  If you are interested in adopting a young dog, please do not wait until you see one on our website to apply for adoption.  Our approval process takes approximately 2-4 weeks to complete and by the time you have been approved for adoption, the younger dog will have already been placed into a loving home. Please start the application process now so that you can be on a waiting list for when GRIN does have younger dogs available.

Adoption pending!

Lexi was a breeder surrender. She is a little timid but we are sure she will come around soon with another canine companion to show her the ropes! She is off to her foster home, check back for updates.

Foster Update: 7/25/25

Hello all of you Golden lovers!  My name is Lexi, and I am adjusting quite well with my foster family.  I am eating well and joining my foster sibs for a good sniff around the yard.  I still haven't quite figured out what to do with toys, or what that squawk box called a TV is, (I'll admit it scared me at first!). I have, however, mastered the magnetic screen door that leads outside, and I am doing well with steps.  I sleep in my crate at night, and I am as quiet as a mouse.  I love this new game I invented called steal the shoe.  I steal one of foster mom's shoes (I prefer flip flops) then she chases me to get it away from me.  Foster mom does not share my love for this game.

While I like my foster sibs, my foster mom thinks I would do just fine in a home without another dog.  I have not had any accidents in the house either!  I tell you; I am the WHOLE package.  I am looking for my forever home.  Could it be yours?
