GRIN tries to make every effort to keep this page current and up to date. Please keep in mind that by the time you submit an application and are going through the approval process, some of dogs pictured below may already be in the process of meeting and being adopted by other approved applicants.

The average ages of our rescued Goldens are 6-10 years of age, however GRIN does occasionally receive younger dogs that are in need of a home.  If you are interested in adopting a young dog, please do not wait until you see one on our website to apply for adoption.  Our approval process takes approximately 2-4 weeks to complete and by the time you have been approved for adoption, the younger dog will have already been placed into a loving home. Please start the application process now so that you can be on a waiting list for when GRIN does have younger dogs available.

This sweet one came to us recently with neurological issues. She’s been seen by a specialist and the good news is she’s improved with her medication. We’re going to continue to watch her and check her for improvement. She is being cared for in a foster home and is doing well. Check back for updates on this precious baby.

Foster Update: 12/5/25

Hi there, I’m Canela & my foster mom tells me I’m a sweetheart. I had some neurological issues when I first came to GRIN, but I am much better now. I love playing with my KONG, trying to get the treat out of it, going for car rides, and zoomies in the backyard yard. I am a good girl going into my crate and at night I sleep on my dog bed next to foster mom's bed. I have free roam of the house without any issues. I would love a home with an active family. I LOVE going for walks, but I need some training because I like to pull. I love playing with other dogs. I listen well and I only take a few minutes to warm up to people. I know sit, paw, & lay down. Did I tell you I LOVE zoomies in the backyard?!?!
