Cane is a recent intake. He is super friendly and very social. He loves attention and will jump up for it! He gets along great with other dogs and is a loving little guy. His adopter will be a very lucky person.

Foster Update: 12/12/25
Nine-year-old Cane is doing great in his foster home. He is full of energy but is taking it easy while his stitches heal. He is shy at first but then becomes a very happy boy when he meets new people. He is doing well with the three resident dogs and cat. He knows how to sit and is working on down and stay. He will go into his crate but prefers sleeping with everyone else in the household. We had good news today: the mass that was removed from Cane’s neck is benign! Now he just has to wait until Dec. 18 to get his stitches removed. After that, he can start running around the back yard. This sweet boy will make a loving addition to any home.
