GRIN tries to make every effort to keep this page current and up to date. Please keep in mind that by the time you submit an application and are going through the approval process, some of dogs pictured below may already be in the process of meeting and being adopted by other approved applicants.

The average ages of our rescued Goldens are 6-10 years of age, however GRIN does occasionally receive younger dogs that are in need of a home.  If you are interested in adopting a young dog, please do not wait until you see one on our website to apply for adoption.  Our approval process takes approximately 2-4 weeks to complete and by the time you have been approved for adoption, the younger dog will have already been placed into a loving home. Please start the application process now so that you can be on a waiting list for when GRIN does have younger dogs available.

Zorra and sister Carina came to GRIN through a local shelter. Sadly, they lost the only home they have known their entire lives. Don't let their age fool you; these girls still have a lot of spunk. They would love to find a forever home together.

Foster Update: 1/22/26

Zorra is doing wonderfully in her foster home and continues to be an incredibly sweet and energetic girl. Zorra and her sister, Carina, have a great bond and spend lots of time playing together, which has been so fun to watch.  Zorra has been making great progress with potty training and continues to improve as she settles into a routine. We’ve also been working on basic cues…she knows how to sit and is currently learning “down” and “shake.” She’s eager to learn, very responsive, and benefits from having positive outlets for her energy through training and play.  Overall, Zorra is a joy to have around and would thrive in a home that enjoys an active, loving companion. I’m excited to keep working with her and see how much more she blossoms.
