GRIN tries to make every effort to keep this page current and up to date. Please keep in mind that by the time you submit an application and are going through the approval process, some of dogs pictured below may already be in the process of meeting and being adopted by other approved applicants.

The average ages of our rescued Goldens are 6-10 years of age, however GRIN does occasionally receive younger dogs that are in need of a home.  If you are interested in adopting a young dog, please do not wait until you see one on our website to apply for adoption.  Our approval process takes approximately 2-4 weeks to complete and by the time you have been approved for adoption, the younger dog will have already been placed into a loving home. Please start the application process now so that you can be on a waiting list for when GRIN does have younger dogs available.

Little Eevee came into GRIN as a medical emergency. This tiny girl was not thriving and needed some quick intervention. She was taken to an emergency vet where she received fluids and close monitoring. This girl is a fighter and was placed into foster care where she is doing great and getting stronger every day. We are confident she will be feeling better and ready for her forever home soon!

Foster Update: 2/2/26

Eevee is the happiest little girl and very energetic. Even with her sassy attitude, she has been doing great in her playpen at night & sleeps very well! She uses her puppy pads but has had accidents in the house due to the freezing weather & not being able to get outside.  She loves everyone and everything and does not realize how tiny she is. She can squeeze through puppy gates because she is so small, so forget about having alone time as she will follow you everywhere. Eevee is learning her name and will come when called. She is more excited for pets & cuddles than she is in learning new cues for treats. Medically she is doing fantastic, normal glucose levels, eating phenomenally and showing a shining personality. Getting pictures is difficult as she won’t sit still long enough to get one!
