GRIN tries to make every effort to keep this page current and up to date. Please keep in mind that by the time you submit an application and are going through the approval process, some of dogs pictured below may already be in the process of meeting and being adopted by other approved applicants.

The average ages of our rescued Goldens are 6-10 years of age, however GRIN does occasionally receive younger dogs that are in need of a home.  If you are interested in adopting a young dog, please do not wait until you see one on our website to apply for adoption.  Our approval process takes approximately 2-4 weeks to complete and by the time you have been approved for adoption, the younger dog will have already been placed into a loving home. Please start the application process now so that you can be on a waiting list for when GRIN does have younger dogs available.

Meet our handsome new guy! He is friendly as can be. He has plenty of energy and will require lots of exercise. He’s also gonna benefit greatly from continual training. He loves to get his mouth on things that don’t always belong to him so his new adopter is gonna have to be aware. He has been vetted and will move to a foster home. We will update you on how his personality blooms.

Update: 2/19/26

This little pup is a burst of sunshine on four paws … all wiggly excitement, curious sniffs, and boundless energy. Pancake came to GRIN as a blank canvas, having zero knowledge of any cues and in need of some obedience/training.  Since coming into GRIN's program, he has been in the care of our positive trainer for evaluation and to work on those skills that will support a successful adoption. Our trainer reports he is super sweet, easily excited, and unfortunately likes to jump!  Don't worry, we are working on that!  He gets along well with other dogs and is house trained.  As Pancake continues to make progress, we will report back with updates.
