GRIN tries to make every effort to keep this page current and up to date. Please keep in mind that by the time you submit an application and are going through the approval process, some of dogs pictured below may already be in the process of meeting and being adopted by other approved applicants.

The average ages of our rescued Goldens are 6-10 years of age, however GRIN does occasionally receive younger dogs that are in need of a home.  If you are interested in adopting a young dog, please do not wait until you see one on our website to apply for adoption.  Our approval process takes approximately 2-4 weeks to complete and by the time you have been approved for adoption, the younger dog will have already been placed into a loving home. Please start the application process now so that you can be on a waiting list for when GRIN does have younger dogs available.

This little girl came to us from a local shelter and not reclaimed. She is timid but loving. She is learning all the joys in life from her foster home. Check back for updates!

Foster Update: 5/12/26

This little girl not only loves soaking up the sun… she is an absolute ray of sunshine! She continues to blossom every day. She loves playing with the resident dog and a new puppy in the family. She is learning to walk on a leash & to just enjoy her new life. She may be a little shy at first, but she is ready for new adventures with her forever family!

Foster Update: 4/6/26

Meet Orla!  Orla is a very shy girl but is warming up to her foster family. She is learning so many new and wonderful things about the world. She does not like loud noises and needs reassurance. She likes the resident dog at her foster home, and he is helping her adjust to a new big world. Orla would probably do best in a quieter home with another calm dog to be her buddy.  She is such a sweet girl and with patience and love she will blossom into a wonderful member of the family!
