GRIN tries to make every effort to keep this page current and up to date. Please keep in mind that by the time you submit an application and are going through the approval process, some of dogs pictured below may already be in the process of meeting and being adopted by other approved applicants.

The average ages of our rescued Goldens are 6-10 years of age, however GRIN does occasionally receive younger dogs that are in need of a home.  If you are interested in adopting a young dog, please do not wait until you see one on our website to apply for adoption.  Our approval process takes approximately 2-4 weeks to complete and by the time you have been approved for adoption, the younger dog will have already been placed into a loving home. Please start the application process now so that you can be on a waiting list for when GRIN does have younger dogs available.

Lola Ann is gentle and timid. She can be a bit nervous at times. She came to us from a local shelter. We know with time this petite girl will be thriving!

Foster Update: 6/2/26

Little Miss Lola Ann has been with us just over 2 weeks.  She has made lots of progress in a short time.  We often call her our “family room greeter” as she likes to lay in the doorway and waits for pets for admission to the room.  Lola Ann LOVES going on walks and walks very well on a loose leash.  If we happen to see a squirrel, she will pull but is easily redirected with “leave it” and continue our walk.  

We have introduced a crate for her to relax in though she is trustworthy in the house.  No accidents to report so she appears to be 100% house trained.  Her tail is constantly wagging. When you walk into a room you hear the thumping of pure joy.  Lola is a bit hand shy with sudden movements but recovers quickly.  We’ve not heard one bark from her.  She has a good appetite and takes treats very gently.  She will need a traditional fenced in yard for her safety.  She LOVES to roll in the grass.  She has a grooming appt. in a few days so stay tuned for new pictures!
