GRIN tries to make every effort to keep this page current and up to date. Please keep in mind that by the time you submit an application and are going through the approval process, some of dogs pictured below may already be in the process of meeting and being adopted by other approved applicants.

The average ages of our rescued Goldens are 6-10 years of age, however GRIN does occasionally receive younger dogs that are in need of a home.  If you are interested in adopting a young dog, please do not wait until you see one on our website to apply for adoption.  Our approval process takes approximately 2-4 weeks to complete and by the time you have been approved for adoption, the younger dog will have already been placed into a loving home. Please start the application process now so that you can be on a waiting list for when GRIN does have younger dogs available.

Miranda is a new Intake and she is pretty as can be! She is timid and shy right now but we are hoping she will warm up quickly. She will need plenty of guidance and training as she is young. Miranda is a petite golden. She is a precious girl and has gone on to her foster home. Once she settles in, she will begin charming them for sure!

Foster Update: 8/5/26

Miranda is a sweet, gentle soul.  She gets excited first thing in the morning & when her foster mom returns home from work, she jumps & wants to be petted.

Miranda is working on coming for petting, sitting & waiting for her food bowl to be put down, taking treats, waiting her turn to have her leash attached, & going for short car rides.  Her foster mom is working with her on her confidence. 

The best thing about Miranda has been watching her relax & act more like a dog.  She often comes for petting & attention & then rolls over for a belly rub.  She will make someone an awesome family member!

Foster Update: 7/14/26

Miranda is adjusting well to her new foster home. She fits in well with her foster sisters and follows their lead whenever she experiences something new. She is comfortable meeting new people and will come to be petted when she meets them. She readily comes for a treat or a taste of something she has not tried previously. She loves to roll in the grass and will quickly turn over for a belly rub. Her foster is working on riding in a car. Miranda is hesitant to jump in but once in appears to be comfortable. When it is time to go outside, Miranda follows her foster sisters and quickly takes care of her business. Miranda is a sweet smaller golden who will be a great companion when adopted.
