GRIN tries to make every effort to keep this page current and up to date. Please keep in mind that by the time you submit an application and are going through the approval process, some of dogs pictured below may already be in the process of meeting and being adopted by other approved applicants.

The average ages of our rescued Goldens are 6-10 years of age, however GRIN does occasionally receive younger dogs that are in need of a home.  If you are interested in adopting a young dog, please do not wait until you see one on our website to apply for adoption.  Our approval process takes approximately 2-4 weeks to complete and by the time you have been approved for adoption, the younger dog will have already been placed into a loving home. Please start the application process now so that you can be on a waiting list for when GRIN does have younger dogs available.

Ziggy and Falkor are a bonded pair that were surrendered by their owner and are heading to their foster home. Although Ziggy is small, he is the pack leader. Ziggy had 12 teeth pulled and a dental cleaning, which requires a soft-food diet. Falkor will be working on weight management and has an ear infection.

Foster Update: 7/29/26

Greetings!

Ziggy and Falkor here, (not Felix and Oscar, AKA, the Odd Couple)!  We are a BONDED PAIR, which in puppy parlance means we LOOOOOOOVE each other.  I, Falkor, am a tad on the floofy side and am working on becoming, slim and trim.  I will be your loyal companion, much like my counterpart in the NEVERENDING STORY.

I, Ziggy, am a Pug, like Doug! Yes, you heard correctly, a PUG!  How I ended up with GRIN is that I am blessed to have Falkor as my brudder.  I am the boss of this duo, similar to my alter ego, MR. STARDUST!  To make my smile even more beautiful, I have recently had some oral surgery, and I feel so much better!

We, through no fault of our own, are looking for our forever home.  We are currently crushing it in our foster home.  We need to stay together because we share, ONE LOVE, ONE HEART(props to the Marleys, Bob and Ziggy).  Please adopt us together and FEEL ALRIGHT!
