SUPPLY DRIVE BENEFITTING BLESSING HOUSE

Our beloved foster extraordinaire, Sister Mary, has opened her home to 52 GRIN dogs over the years. But did you know she’s also the Founder and Executive Director of Blessing House?

Located in Lorain County, Blessing House provides residential crisis care for children from birth through age 12 when their families are facing emergencies. Their safe, loving environment helps prevent abuse and neglect during times of instability.

How the GRIN Village Can Help

At our upcoming Volunteer Appreciation event on Sunday, April 12th, we’re inviting attendees to bring at least one donation item to support the children in Sister Mary’s care.

Most Needed Items Include:

Food: Rice, fun-shaped pasta, applesauce pouches, snack bags (pretzels, popcorn, chips), cookies (animal crackers or Teddy Grahams), soups (chicken noodle, tomato, beef vegetable), Capri Sun, Jello cups, condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo)

Household: Paper towels, disinfecting wipes, unscented baby wipes, baby shampoo, wash, & lotion, 3 oz. dixie cups

Children's: Toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo/body wash, hairbrushes, travel-size deodorant, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, soft plastic kickballs

Even one item makes a difference.

Thank you for always showing up with open hearts - for goldens and for children in need. That’s what makes the GRIN village so special!
