RUN, WALK & WAG FOR GRIN AT THE HUNTSBURG PUMPKIN RUN! (OCTOBER 4)

Grab your running shoes, leash up your pup, and enjoy a beautiful fall morning while supporting GRIN at the annual Huntsburg Pumpkin Run on Sunday, October 4!

Held at Headwaters Park in Huntsburg, this family-friendly event features a 4-mile trail run and a 1-mile fun walk through the park's beautiful wooded trails. Best of all, dogs are welcome to join you for the run or walk, or simply come along to cheer from the sidelines! All participating dogs must be people and dog-friendly, licensed, fully immunized, and leashed.

The 4-mile run begins at 9:00 AM, followed by the 1-mile fun walk at 9:15 AM. Winner announcements and a raffle will take place at 10:15 AM. Participants can also enjoy complimentary refreshments, and runners have the opportunity to earn placement trophies.

And there’s an extra special reason for GRIN supporters to participate! If you bring your furry friend, organizers ask that you bring a cash or check donation to GRIN. It's a great way to "have a pet, help a pet" while enjoying a fun fall morning together.

The Pumpkin Run is part of the annual Huntsburg Pumpkin Festival, taking place October 3-4. Please note that while pups are welcome at the run and walk, pets are not permitted at the festival itself.

Come run, walk, wag and help make a difference for the Goldens who depend on GRIN!
